FuturaTerm is the native macOS multiplexer Grok Bot talks to. The Cursor/Grok desktop agent drives projects, tabs, panes, and slash commands so Grok Build runs on your Mac.

REMOTE CONTROL
Grok Bot talks. FuturaTerm runs.
Grok Bot drives FuturaTerm through the bundled CLI so Grok Build runs in a pane on your Mac. Projects, tabs, panes, slash commands — local, not hosted.

01
Remote control from Grok Bot
Grok Bot, the Cursor/Grok desktop agent, drives FuturaTerm through the bundled CLI. Open a project, split a pane, run a slash command — Grok Build stays on your Mac.
02
Grok Build, in a pane
The local coding agent runs in a FuturaTerm pane, not a browser tab and not a hosted terminal. The work happens on your machine.
03
Sessions that survive
Quit detaches your shells. Relaunch restores tabs, scrollback, and running processes. The window is gone. The work is not.
04
A sidebar that fits the names
Projects and their tabs stack in a native macOS sidebar — vertical, so you can actually read them.
LAYOUTS
Describe a workspace in YAML. Open it as a project.
Tabs, splits, and per-pane commands live in ~/.config/futuraterm/projects/. Open the file, get the layout. Grok Bot can spawn the rest through the CLI.
